I am seeking part time freelance work with a company who can benefit from my skills in JAVA system architecture and development and consulting can be utilized and enhanced. While the greater portion of my experience is in JAVA, I have working experience with many other programming languages and platforms. I have over 15 years of development experience and I’ve been a technical team lead (or architect role) for 9 out of that 15. The team lead / architect roles have given me full lifecycle project experience (Discovery, Design, Implementation, Quality Assurance and Deployment phases). The tasks I’ve performed during these phases include: software and hardware audits and recommendations, requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, issue management, database design, OO design, writing technical specifications, source code control, infrastructure set up, hands on development, development team management, deployment, testing, bug fixing/tracking and software
