SQL Server Database Administrator position. With [11+ years] of hands-on experience managing Microsoft SQL Server environments, I specialize in ensuring database performance, availability, security, and data integrity.In my previous roles, I have successfully administered SQL Server 2016–2022 across development, staging, and production environments. My responsibilities included performance tuning, index optimization, query analysis, and capacity planning, resulting in improved system reliability and reduced downtime. I am highly experienced in implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies, including full, differential, and transaction log backups to meet strict RPO/RTO requirements.I have strong expertise in high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances, Log Shipping, and Replication. Additionally, I am well-versed in SQL Server security best practices, including role-based access control, encryption, auditing, and compliance standards.

Work Terms

Availability

I am available for both short-term troubleshooting tasks and long-term database administration projects. My standard working hours are Monday to Friday, [your time zone, e.g., IST], with flexibility for scheduled maintenance windows, urgent production issues, or after-hours support when required.

Communication & Collaboration

Clear and consistent communication is essential for successful project delivery. I am available through email, chat platforms (Slack, Teams), and video meetings (Zoom / Microsoft Teams). Regular updates will be provided to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Scope & Planning

Before starting any project, I review and confirm:

Database environment details (SQL Server version, infrastructure, access requirements)

Project objectives and deliverables

Estimated timeline and milestones

Any scope changes or additional requirements will be discussed and mutually agreed upon before implementation.

Security & Confidentiality

Database security and client data protection are top priorities. I follow industry best practices to ensure data integrity, secure access management, and compliance standards. I am also willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) when required.

Payments & Milestones

For larger or long-term projects, work can be structured into clear milestones with defined deliverables. Payment terms will be based on the agreed platform policies or contract terms.

Support & Maintenance

Post-project support can be provided for database monitoring, performance optimization, backups, and maintenance as part of an ongoing support agreement if needed.
