Multilingual project manager and VA

I have 5 years of experience in managing projects related to the entertainment and event industry. Having lived and worked in Japan for several years, I am very familiar with the language and the business culture.
My main achievement is Hello Kitty Live, a theatrical show for children that launched in London and toured extensively in the Middle East and Asia.
When the project started, I was hired to develop, stage and sell the performance.
At first, the job included full financial and time planning, the creation of business cases and risk assessment, plus the definition of all the HR needed to start the actual creation of the show.
Then came the implementation phase where I was asked to select and manage the HR and negotiate alliances (soundtrack/intellectual rights). All while keeping a tight control on financial and time requirements.
During the actual show creation, I was the one making sure all the pieces fell into the right place: assigning tasks, controlling costs, dealing with open litigations, negotiating with service providers and suppliers, overseen marketing plans (mostly social media) and coordinating all the HR.
Due to the specific nature of the business, I had to take a lot of split-second decisions and became accustomed to crisis management.
I am flexible, perseverant, resourceful, a quick learner and not scared of challenges nor criticism. In the past, I have dealt with many different business matters that enabled me to think out of the box and independently. I like having the chance to explore a new task that make me grow. I'm a people's person and always created strong bonds with both team members and clients.
After five years of working remotely, I'm accustomed to the self-discipline and flexibility required by the lifestyle and, frankly, I treasure them.
