Shari demonstrated exceptional copyediting and substantive editing skills, and beyond, during a time crisis, where a deadline was rapidly passing. She presented great ideas and suggestions; her comments on content and organization of very poorly written, long, and complicated book chapters were immensely helpful and clear for the author to understand. She managed to maintain the author's voice amidst very confusing writing. Shari was timely, conscientious, communicative, pleasant to work with, and able to be detail-oriented while also holding the "big picture" of the author's intentions in view. She kept in constant contact with me, which was important as time was so crucial, and stayed on top of things. Shari is very knowledgeable, intelligent, and talented.
