Education: Master of Professional Writing, University of Southern CA in Los Angeles, 1998. Experienced, extensively published writer (20+ years) and editor (20+ years) with fourteen years experience teaching college writing, editing, business writing, writing for publication, desktop publishing, and branding at a four-year, research university in the desert southwest. Extensive knowledge of all citation styles (APA and MLA, especially, as well as Chicago Style), grammar, basic editing, comprehensive editing (holistic editing including attention to formatting, style, grammar, punctuation, spelling, design, readability, etc.), and proofreading (to provide a final look prior to publishing). Can assist with blogging, crafting business plans, writing book proposals, polishing manuscripts, building basic websites, and writing newsletters, press releases, and other business correspondence as you need it.
