Hi!
My name is Shelly Fegter. I have been a stay at home Mom of two from 2002. Before that, I worked for several years as an Office Manager and Financial Manager. Now that my children have grown up enough that they don't need my constant attention, I am finding myself with time to pursue my dreams. Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was old enough to hold a camera. I love it. So as of 2016, I decided to return to school, in pursuit of a degree in Photography.
Currently, I am attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Online Division. I am enjoying all fields of photography, as well as photography restoration and manipulation. My particular interests are in Journalism Photography; including areas of Human Rights, Mental Health Rights, Veterans Rights, Animal Rights, and Environmental Concerns. I also love photographing Nature Preserves, Wildlife, and anything strange and "off the beaten path."
I already have one part-time Internship with a local Non-Profit organization, but I am looking for one more, and hopefully a sponsor. My GPA is 3.93 (currently on the Dean's List), working very hard on my courses; as well as researching additional information outside of my courses. I am a very fast and eager learner.
My camera is a Nikon D200 for which I have three lenses, including an 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Contemporary DC Macro OS HSM Wide Angle Lens; as well as other essential camera and computer equipment. I have the Adobe Cloud Suite for image management, editing, and manipulation.
Work Terms
I am flexible as far as hours are concerned. I do not photograph anything illegal or morally questionable. Otherwise, I will work hard to achieve your goals.
