Having spent four years at campus learning Economics and German Literature,then working for the German Academic Exchange Service,I felt as 2015 drew to a close that I needed to expand my skill set.I got introduced to Transcription from a Facebook Group and my interest in the field grew gradually as I learnt that video captioning/subtitling was also a close relative.What followed were Udemy tutorials,YouTube videos and an extensive learning phase that took me to new discoveries.I am currently transcribing for Transcribe Me and Casting Words as a newbie.My skill set is 100% self taught but all the same you will find that they are up to par.
