Simon has been an amazing contributor. We tasked him with the design and implementing a compression method to help us with optimising our processing. Simon was able to find a good library for the function we described, but then build it out in a novel way to use it more creatively than its usual fun
ction. During this Simon provided highly detailed documentation, a great extensions in one area we hadn't mentioned before but was obviously useful. Simon's code was excellent. Clean and well structured. Additionally, he put in significant effort to optimise the run time. Not just multi threading, but an extreme performance analysis approach in every way. Given the focus for this work for us is a many-to-many search of an enormous number of records, his optimisations will be greatly received. We were surprised at the quality Simon delivered, would recommend him to others, and hope he continues to support our project in future.
