I'm a wife, boy mom, and dog mom, a Texas by birth and a Cincinnatian by choice. A self-proclaimed book nerd, I fell in love with reading and writing at a young age. Combining my love of reading and writing led me to where I am today. Freelance editing and ghostwriting have been incredibly rewarding, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life, right? When I'm not reading or writing, I'm traveling with my guys, spending time with my friends, or rooting for the Reds and the Texans.
Work Terms
My work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. I charge per word for editing and hourly for ghostwriting. My editing rates my vary depending on the type of editing a project requires—a basic copyedit is the most inexpensive, then line edit, then developmental edit. Depending on the manuscripts word count, editing can take anywhere from one week (five business days) to four weeks (twenty business days).
A ghostwriting timeline will be determined when a project is in process, as they are significantly more time consuming and in depth.
A ten percent deposit is required to book your project dates.
I prefer to communicate by email, but I am willing to meet via video chat if necessary. However, for my safety and yours, video chat will only be an option if we have an executed contract, a deposit has been paid, and a project is in the works.
