I am Engr. Dr. Solomon Malcolm Ekolama, a Telecommunication and Communication Engineering Consultant with a passion for intelligent, secure, and adaptive communication systems. Over the years, I’ve dedicated my career to exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning can transform modern telecommunication networks into systems that think, learn, and protect themselves.
My academic journey began with a Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, followed by a Master’s and Ph.D. in Communication Engineering. These milestones strengthened my drive to bridge theoretical research with real-world problem-solving. Today, I serve as a consultant and academic, advising telecom operators, research institutions, and technology-driven organisations on AI integration, cybersecurity, and next-generation network design.
Throughout my professional path, I’ve worked on projects involving network optimisation, VoIP security, spectrum management, and digital transformation. I’m particularly proud of my research contributions in AI-driven VoIP security and intelligent network optimisation, which combine technical rigour with practical solutions for global communication challenges.
Beyond engineering, I value integrity, innovation, and lifelong learning. I believe that technology must not only connect people but also empower them—enabling secure, accessible, and equitable communication for all. I take pride in mentoring young engineers and researchers, helping them build confidence in applying AI and data-driven approaches to solve real-world problems.
When I’m not immersed in algorithms or network models, I enjoy reading about emerging technologies, mentoring students, and exploring new cultures through travel and virtual collaboration. These experiences continually shape my worldview, reminding me that true innovation happens where curiosity meets compassion.

Work Terms
I maintain a structured yet flexible work schedule to accommodate clients across different time zones. My regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (WAT), with extended support available for urgent or international projects upon prior arrangement. I respond to all messages and project inquiries within 12–24 hours, ensuring timely communication and dependable project progress.
All engagements begin with a project briefing to clarify objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. I emphasise clear communication, professionalism, and respect for deadlines—values that have guided my consulting practice across diverse AI and telecommunication projects.
Payments are accepted in USD via secure Direct Bank Transfer, depending on platform policy and client preference. I offer fixed-price contracts for defined deliverables (reports, studies, and AI analyses) and hourly contracts for long-term advisory and optimisation tasks. For larger projects, payments are divided into milestones tied to deliverable completion. Invoices are due within five business days of milestone approval, ensuring clarity, accountability, and mutual trust.
My preferred communication channels include email, Guru messaging, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, with regular updates provided weekly or biweekly. I document all key communications and deliverables to maintain transparency and continuity.
