Scientist, English/French translator, horticulture specialist, technical writer and researcher
I am a French native, bilingual in French and English. I am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and currently work for clients in France and in the UK.
I can translate and proofread many types of documents, particularly those requiring technical and scientific writing skills. My past work has included newspaper and magazine articles, marketing materials, technical documentation, website (e-commerce), and historical data (eg antique books).
As a trained scientist (plant biology and ecology) I can help with research writing, data entry and analysis.
Having worked in NGOs, I have gained experience in digital marketing and social media (Facebook and Twitter), Wordpress content creation for causes (eg environmental causes) and industry (horticulture).
I am also a published photographer.
My interests include gardening and horticulture in general, scuba diving, music (I play the saxophone and oboe and collect old records and audio gear), history, travel (I have traveled extensively in Asia) and food (I am a passionate cook).
Work Terms
I offer a flexible schedule (weekend/evening work possible), and always update my clients on work progress on a daily basis.
