After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating summa cum laude, I went to work for a local government agency, where I wrote and edited grant proposals, news releases, and other promotional materials. Later, I continued my education and earned a Master of Education in Secondary Education, again graduating with honors. I continue to write and edit grant proposals, news releases, and other promotional materials for a local non-profit agency. After working as a professional editor for fifteen years, my business partner and I struck out on our own to start an online freelance editing company, Prestige Prose. Throughout my fifteen year professional career, I have edited grant proposals, news releases, public service announcements, annual reports, and everything in between. For the academic, I have edited theses, research papers, and literature reviews, to name a few. As an author and editor, I have ghostwritten non-fiction ebooks as well as had fictional short stories published in my own name. I have edited fiction manuscripts that have gone on to be published by the author. I volunteer each week to proofread brochures for my church.
