A finance background paired with a marketing perspective allows me to see businesses as a whole. My unique dual outlook provides technical business intelligence while keeping a consumer-centric focus. I provide businesses and individuals with sound corporate finance and financial management solutions to everyday business needs.
While attending business school I immediately recogned the value in finance I adopted a Dual-Major business degree in Finance and Marketing.
I worked for an energy company Assistant Controller. After almost 5 years working under a strong, autonomous Controller, I moved to a Financial Controller position in a start-up, high-growth retail company. The start-up was fast-paced and the position was inventive and autonomous; the retail nature forever-changing. The experience was unforgettable and one in a million. Currently I reside as the Financial Controller of an industry leader in freight forwarding and logistics. Still working autonomously with CEOs, I provide financial insight to facilitate executive decision-making daily.
In addition to fulfilling personal philanthropic goals in my community in areas of education, youth activities and business and economic development, I continually engage in professional development initiatives to further develop my repertoire of corporate financial management skills. I look forward to a lifelong love and career of improving businesses by establishing ongoing financial stability, creating a culture of accountability and implementing relevant KPI's to ensure lasting success in the average/above average business.
Work Terms
2-3 days per week. 8 - 20 hours/week.
