Think Engineer is a small research and development company based in Reading, UK. We specialise in the development of one-off systems, proof-of-concept demonstrators and low volume, pre-production prototypes.
If you have an idea that need it developed, we're the people for you. We have experience working on projects in virtual reality, smart housing, transportation, leisure and entertainment, asset monitoring, and much more.
Our key technical skills include electronics development, 3D modelling and 3D printing, data analysis and machine learning, and rapid software prototyping. Our goal is to use these skills to be able to quickly produce all the elements of a functional system.
We are always happy to work with inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs, or to work with other companies to provide them with a new development capability. We are particularly interested in building long term relationships with our clients.

Work Terms
We are a small team of full-time engineers in the UK.
We like to start a project with an initial call to discuss the project goals and requirements, and then we will produce a proposal document which outlines the required development phases to achieve your goal. This will include estimates of effort and duration for each phase, and serves as a statement of work for the project. This approach works very well for shorter, fixed scope projects, but we can also work in a more agile and free form way.
We can provide a service agreement and NDA on request.
Regarding payment, we prefer monthly or milestone payments, but are willing to be flexible depending on the size and nature of the project.
