Work Terms
Work Terms – Electrical Consultant
1. Scope of Work
Services include electrical design, advisory, supervision, compliance review, testing, and commissioning support as agreed in the contract.
Any additional tasks beyond the agreed scope will require a written variation order.
2. Engagement Model
Time-based (Hourly/Daily Rate): For advisory, site inspections, and short-term engagements.
Lump-Sum (Project-Based): For defined deliverables such as complete design, drawings, or reports.
Retainer Model: For ongoing consultancy, supervision, or compliance support.
3. Deliverables
Drawings, reports, and documents will be provided in soft copy (PDF/DWG/Excel/Word).
Site reports, inspection checklists, and compliance notes will be issued as per agreed frequency.
4. Payment Terms
Advance payment (10–20%) upon contract signing.
Progress payments based on milestones or monthly billing.
Final settlement upon submission of deliverables or project handover.
Payments are due within 30 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
5. Communication
Regular project updates will be shared via email, virtual meetings, or client-approved platforms.
Urgent technical queries will be addressed within 24–48 hours.
6. Travel & Expenses
Site visits outside the consultant’s base location will be charged at actuals (travel, lodging, per diem).
Local site visits may be included in the consultancy fee if agreed upfront.
7. Confidentiality & Compliance
All client information, drawings, and project data will be treated as confidential.
Consultancy will be performed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and local regulations.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice (15–30 days).
Consultant is entitled to payment for all completed work and expenses incurred up to termination date.
