I am looking for jobs on translation. When I was working in IT industry, I had engaged in editing and translating various books such as operation manuals of new system and products. Although many translators tended to translate unnatural sentences for users, I always simplified the sentences to let users understand easily. The Technique developed when I was undergraduate student in literature course because I could logically study the grammatical difference between English and Japanese. The knowledge contributed to translate several manuals from English to Japanese in IT companies.
My favorite study is history, religion, culture, and language. I believe that the knowledge and previous working experiences can help you.
