Making Writers Stronger with Every Semicolon!

I was a tutor at Central Connecticut State University's Writing Center, and I am also now an online tutor for Chegg Tutoring. For both, I work to help students better understand how to strengthen their writing in various aspects, not only showing them how and why, but also how to extend these skills to future pieces. I am an English major with a Writing minor in the university's Honors Program, entering my Junior year of college, in hopes to enter into the publishing industry. I have always had a passion for reading, writing, and editing, and I am always looking for new opportunities to better my skill set, and to challenge myself to the next level. I have taken my fair share of writing classes in the past six years, ranging from Creative Writing of poetry, short stories, and novels, to Creative Nonfiction, to Writing About Health. With the last class mentioned, I have published two pieces of nonfiction. I love to tell stories, to read stories, and to help strengthen every part of a story, from the bigger picture down to the line level. It is my ultimate goal to be an editor who can make suggestions to authors in order to better their literary elements in plot, characters, and writing.
