I want to provide highly creative, well-written and well-researched articles and blog posts.

I've been writing for every job I've held since college (University of Maine, '99), and now I want to be more creative. So, I've embarked on a freelance writing career.
I can write on a wide variety of topics, but my professional experience is primarily healthcare related. I worked for a few nonprofit organizations that supported adults with developmental disabilities, and from October 2007 through July 2015, I worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Those jobs mean that most of what I wrote in those roles is protected by HIPAA, but I've periodically posted personal essays in my blog, http://tedblog-tedblog.blogspot.com/. I'm also a veteran with over 20 years of combined reserve and regular army experience.

My schedule is very flexible. I can work just about anytime, and I can adjust my personal schedule to meet a short deadline most of the time.
I'd like to make $15-$20 per 500 words, but I can negotiate. And I can communicate about projects through email or Skype.
