Tengku Adrian is a writer and recognised for his work in movie and TV drama scripts. His best known work is the script for a feature film entitled BILUT, which was Malaysia’s biggest production in 2005. The film went on to win awards at the 19th Malaysian Film Festival and the 51st Asia Pacific Film Festival.
Tengku Adrian’s breakthrough as a scriptwriter was in 2003 when he won the Scriptwriting Competition held by the Malaysian Film Development Board (FINAS) with his work SERENDAH SEKEBUN BUNGA. The following year, he wrote the script for a 16-episode TV drama series, RUMAH ITU DUNIA AKU, an adaptation of a 1950 novel written by the prominent author Hamzah Hussin.
While much of Tengku Adrian’s writing is of historical fiction and drama genre, he also writes love stories, romantic comedy and mystery thriller, as he continues to explore and prove his versatility.
In addition to fiction and script writing, Tengku Adrian has also been writing for publications including company newsletters, press releases, speeches and articles for about 17 years.
While he continues with providing advisory and presenting Talks on public relations and communication related matter, Tengku Adrian remains close to his love and passion on movies and books.
