Work Terms

1. Introduction:
These terms of service ("Terms") govern the provision of freelance editing and proofreading services by Jose, hereafter referred to as the "Editor," to clients, hereafter referred to as the "Client."
2. Scope of Services:
The Editor agrees to provide editing, proofreading, rewriting, and revising services as requested by the Client, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
3. Pricing and Payment:
The Client and Editor will agree on the scope of work and pricing for each project before work begins.
Payment is due in full upon completion of the project unless otherwise specified and agreed upon in writing.
4. Turnaround Time:
The Editor will provide an estimated delivery date for each project. The Client agrees to provide all necessary materials and information to meet this deadline. Any delay caused by the Client may affect the delivery date.
5. Confidentiality:
The Editor will maintain the confidentiality of all materials and information provided by the Client.
The Client's work will not be shared, distributed, or disclosed to third parties without express written consent.
6. Ownership:
The Client retains ownership of the original work, and the Editor has no claim to it beyond the agreed-upon editing and proofreading services.
7. Liability:
The Editor is not responsible for any potential consequences or losses resulting from the Client's use of the edited content.
The Editor's liability is limited to the total fees paid for the service.
8. Termination:
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. The Client is responsible for payment for services rendered up to the point of termination.
9. Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Arizona
