Professional Editor, Ghostwriter, and Beta Reader

Welcome to Perkinz Editing! I'm Tiffany Perkinz. I have a BA in English (2013) and an MA in English (2017) from Lamar University, and I've spent the past decade teaching writing and literature. Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of editing a variety of different writings, including full length novels.
Aside from my love for writing, I'm passionate about travel. I currently work full time at Lamar University advising students on study abroad opportunities. I'm also, as I'm sure you could surmise, passionate about books. My "happy place" is sitting next to a pile of unread books with a cat on my lap. Blending together my love for writing and books comes editing--a task that is genuinely fun for me. There's something magical about taking a sentence or paragraph that needs work and transforming it into words that flow seamlessly and gives you that feeling of goosebumps when you read over what you wrote. A well-written page is powerful, and I don't take that responsibility lightly.
