With more than 17 years of dedicated experience in IT management and development, I have continually driven impactful change and spearheaded innovative projects across diverse industries.
In my last role as Director of IT for KPMG of Caucasus and Central Asia, with company spread out over 6 countries in Central Asian region, I have been tasked with ambitious project of driving and managing the project of IT demerger from Russian Federation due to geopolitical situation. Together with Global KPMG IT resources we have managed to fully separate the infrastructure and build a transition landscape in less than 3 months. That meant to build a sufficient infrastructure with direct connections to EU Data Centers of KPMG. After successfully separating, the next task at hand was to make sure KPMG CCA will have everything to continue business as usual. I have rebuilt the internal ITS team in 6 countries using centralized governance model with PMO and DevOps under my direct daily supervision. With PMO we have delivered 6 Projects in 8 months. The ones that would stand out for this particular are kCRM project(.Net) with integration with SAP ECC 6 for our business units(from lead to contract stage) and deployment of SAP ERP for 6 countries with half automated integration with local Accounting system in each country. I have analyzed and optimized the budgets needed for period of stabilization for business. Last but not least me and my team had to come up with optimal plan for Application landscape. We have settled for SAP for financial management and Azure technology stack for corporate automation for internal clients.
I held dual roles in Astana, Kazakhstan serving as the Head of IT for a major Petrochem project while also acting as the Deputy GM for IT strategy at Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), overseeing a sizeable IT team responsible for crafting and executing the comprehensive IT strategy for the entire National Company. At KTZ, I lead a block of 57 professionals, focusing on crucial aspects such as IT risk management, asset optimization, methodology, international collaboration, and strategic planning to ensure the alignment of IT objectives with overarching business goals.
My previous tenure within an International Oil and Gas Company equipped me with invaluable insights into managing IT operations across multiple countries, navigating complex infrastructures, and enhancing applications across diverse segments such as refining, retail, trading, supply chain, and corporate services.
Moreover, my active participation as a speaker at industry conferences, contributions to publications, and a robust global network of peers underscores my commitment to staying abreast of technological advancements and sharing insights within the IT community.
