I have worked in publishing since 2007, originally as an in-house editor at prestigious publishers Oxford University Press and Taylor & Francis, and as a freelance editor since 2013. As well as OUP and T&F, regular clients include Cambridge University Press, Pearson and Fantasy Scroll Magazine.
I offer a range of services from simple proofreading through to copyediting and content editing. I am accustomed to working with a variety of styles and on different registers of text, and I am equally comfortable with British and American English. I have an excellent eye for detail – I will check every last comma and full stop.
I also have a very strong linguistic background – a BA in Spanish and Portuguese from Oxford University and an MA in Translation from Bristol University. Of course, my proficiency with English grammar is second to none, backed up by years of experience as an editor in English Language Teaching publishing.
Work Terms
I typically work "standard" office hours (GMT), but would be happy to work evenings and/or weekends if necessary.
