Name: Tooling Design
Description: Tooling Design (Eugene C. Kane II DBA Tooling Design) is a veteran-owned, sole-proprietorship, small business engaged in the contract design of tools, tooling, automatic machinery and product design.
I have been at this for about thirty-something years so I consider myself to be an accomplished expert. Experience ranges from automatic corrugated packaging machinery, military weapons systems, automatic assembly lines, aircraft tooling to medical equipment design, as well as several consumer products including paper shredders and juice dispensers .. . . among others.. This is of course not inclusive. I am absolutely knowledgeable in all phases of manufacturing, including the very new methods such as Metal Injection Molding. I am fluent in nearly "all" engineering materials from alloy steels to polymers.
Engineering abilities extend from conceptual work though final manufacturing. A typical project would include several iterations of the concept phase, after which a general engineering layout is produced. The layout is used to configure every single component, active or passive, within the proposed product, mechanism or automatic machine being designed.
I work in Solidworks 2016 -2019,and can send you examples of detail drawings upon request, so that you can see what kind of quality & detail to expect.
