Illustrator and Concept artist
Hi, I’m Toyin Ajetunmobi.
My journey as a visual artist began in 2015 when I interned at Imperial Creations Studios in Lagos, Nigeria. Since then, my work has reached audiences across three continents and has been featured in a range of projects—both commissioned and personal. One highlight was in 2021 when a series of my illustrations helped facilitate a 10-book deal between Dark Horse Entertainment and Youneek Studios.
I’ve worked across several mediums, including comic books, graphic novels, and video games, though I’m not limited to just those. Some of my work draws inspiration from Japanese art styles, while others are deeply rooted in African lore—especially Yoruba cosmology and history.
Projects like Windmaker, Hawi & Zufan, and Waker reflect my artistic range and my unique visual voice. I’m always open to new collaborations, especially those that push creative boundaries or offer something different.
