Rebecca Crouch is the owner of Trans-2, a team of language professionals offering a full range of language services including transcription, editing, and proofreading.

Trans-2 was founded when founder Michelle Baker parlayed her skills as a freelancer to earn her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

In 2015, the company was transferred to Rebecca Crouch, who has been a transcriptionist with the company for some time. Today she manages a team, who, like her, are raising families while they educate themselves and learn to become entrepreneurs.

Work Terms

Transcription:

1. All transcription is performed at a standard rate per audio minute.

2. If you need a transcript, please contact us. We’ll provide you with instructions to upload your file to Dropbox. We’ll confirm receipt of the file, transcription cost, and provide you with a delivery date.

3. Please advise of any special instructions, including the names of the speakers and any industry terms or brand names that might be unfamiliar to our transcribers.

4. Upon delivery of the transcript, you’ll have the opportunity to review the file and request changes, if necessary. Then you’ll be invoiced for the total. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Proofreading and Editing:

If you’d like a document proofread or edited, please submit the manuscript along with the following:

a. a detailed description of the types of proofreading or editing work you’re looking for
b. a description of how the document was produced and how it will be published
c. your contact information
