My passion for technology began as a kid from a small town, sparked the day I decided to take a computer apart just for fun. That moment ignited a lifelong pursuit of understanding how systems work, a curiosity that evolved into an unbridled drive to build a powerhouse IT consulting firm. Observing companies secure major contracts, I knew I could deliver superior results, driven by a commitment to excellence and a love for learning something new every day.

My unique path started in the U.S. Navy, where over a decade, I plunged into mission-critical IT operations. As a Network & Systems Engineer on the USS Bulkeley, I led complex shipboard networks through deployments, ensuring reliability and security under immense pressure. This experience instilled my meticulous discipline and foundational understanding of operational continuity. A pivotal shift occurred as a Cybersecurity Inspector at Fleet Cyber Command. Here, I learned to engage with 4-star admirals, mastering the art of translating complex technical vulnerabilities into strategic, executive-level insights. This is where I truly fell in love with cybersecurity, developing my critical analysis and multi-layered reporting skills, and even pioneering the Navy's first centralized vulnerability tracking system.

My journey continued into the government contractor space, rapidly expanding my expertise across diverse IT environments. Roles with SAIC, FedITC, and IBM provided extensive enterprise-scale experience, from deploying global network ecosystems and modernizing thousands of Army systems (3000+ client machines, 300+ servers worldwide) to managing critical VA data center operations. This period solidified my proficiency in System Engineering, Network Engineering, GRC, and Distance Support, preparing me for comprehensive IT challenges.

This rich background culminated in founding T&S Consulting, where I now operate as Owner & Principal Cloud Consultant. I act as an outsourced IT lead for startups and SMBs, applying a business-driven approach informed by my MBA in IT Management and ongoing Master’s in Cybersecurity.
