Hi, hello...I'm Valerie.
Here's a bit about me:
Fantasy works are my favorite, but I enjoy speculative fiction; historical, dystopian, paranormal, romance, and others. The "what if" stories.
I have extensive experience in the different levels of editing and the arduous journey of impactful writing.
Editing novels is enjoyable for me, particularly those featuring magic or the supernatural, knights, castles, dragons, fae, vampires, etc.--but I don't dismiss any genres of fiction; I wouldn't dream of missing out on a masterpiece.
Open-minded is how I was raised to be. No judgment will be passed aside from how I can help make your creation more powerful.
I'm an artist; a creative. I accept and respect the intricate journey of creation and the mettle it requires.
As such, a rush job is not what I do; I'm dedicated to investing the appropriate time and focus to deliver a thorough, high-quality service. Allow this artist to assist another--YOU!
I became certified in proofreading and copyediting in 2018 and have been continuously growing my editing skills since. I've recently added developmental editing to my skillset and am excited to be able to offer it to you.
