Scientifically inclined working writer and researcher

A voracious reader by nature, I explored a variety of sciences in college. By the end of my term at university, I realized that I felt most comfortable in the world of words. But I still wanted to participate in science - so my I went to work in healthcare communications, first as a proofreader/editor and then graduating to a writer. I've been a working freelance medical writer for the past 17 years and I enjoy it. I'm here at Guru to sample the variety of interesting projects that abound but that I've not been exposed to in past years due to having a number of regular clients.
