A love of science and passion for creation
With my Physics B.S. for professional training, I am a practicing content strategist with work in SEO article writing and unique content creation. Currently, I volunteer at a science podcast and have completed an internship in the publications department of a scientific society. I have a huge passion for physics and science, but I have love for topics from cake decorating to watercolor painting to fishing.
One of my favorite hobbies is creating podcasts. While I intern at the podcast Spark Science, I also have created my own podcast series Rising to the Challenge, discussing challenges faced in science and engineering career paths by people with invisible and chronic illnesses. In these projects, I am able to express my versatile skill set.
I have always enjoyed creative writing and I am 30,000 words into my first novel, although my true passion is research. I love creating reports to aid a group in making decisions. My recent internship had two projects where I used research and data analysis to advise a budget and content decision, and I make research-based decisions as a content strategist every day.
