Providing Perfection Through Editing & Proofreading
I am an avid proofreader; I love perfecting drafts and spotting the smallest of errors. I have strong attention to detail, enabling me to pick up on errant spaces, random commas, and capitalisation issues, amongst many others. Proofreading is the ultimate stage in a writing project, designed to pick up on the errors a copyeditor missed.
I have experience proofreading critical business documents for financial services, books, websites, PhD theses and dissertations, amongst many other projects. I enjoy proofreading and perfecting content; I spot errors everywhere in life!
I also copyedit, which is essentially in-depth proofreading, ensuring sentences make sense and flow properly. In addition, I can line edit, also known as stylistic editing. Line editing involves perfecting clarity and style. It focuses on language usage and requires a more hands-on approach from the client to discuss proposed changes.
As such, I can take your project from early draft to completion.
Additionally, I have almost 10 years’ experience working as a personal assistant, transcriptionist and typist. My role primarily focuses on typing, transcription, and knowledge of financial services. I am also required to proofread and edit documents/letters to clients.
Writing articles is something I enjoy, and I have written content ranging from health to photography. I love researching different topics. Writing in a business/professional tone, casual, and anywhere in between is easy for me.
I have written copy for e-commerce, which has included SEO.
I have many years’ experience with photography and basic editing. Macro photography is my favourite area.
