I am an accomplished Software Architect & Engineering Leader who has over 16+ years of experience in the analysis, design and development of large, complex web, client-server, backend, database, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS cloud software using cutting edge technologies with several Fortune Clients in mission critical and time sensitive environments.
I have written mission critical, zero-defect software which is in production within large companies like Walmart, Exxon Mobil, Las Vegas Sands, PBS, Liberty Mutual, Federated Investors, John Hancock and Guardian. My software synchronizes more than a billion rows for Walmart on a daily basis and more than 15 million files on a daily basis. I have helped scale applications to handle up to 17 million rows from less than a million rows on an embedded single file relational database engine. I have also worked on custom built, .NET based IoT systems where sensors routinely send more than a hundreds of thousands of packets per hour to the server both within the private sector (Real-time Vehicle Tracking & Fleet Management) as well as State Governments (DMV). I have experience synchronizing on-premises N-Tier applications seamlessly to the Azure cloud.
I have proven experience helping companies solve complex problems in an array of industries as diverse as Finance, Retail, Green Technology & Real-time Fleet management. I have proven expertise in understanding business requirements and translating them into functional requirements, architecture, and detailed design taking advantage of UML. I do not believe in design overkill.I am an independent thinker and my design choices significantly reduce software costs in the short term while retaining their value over time. I have proven ability to design and resolve complex software problems where all prior attempts have failed. I am a hands-on programmer, who loves to write code. I have experience creating high performance, scalable, N-Tier applications.
