HR Generalist - Available for Contract / Freelancing

A mature professional with 5+ experience in Human Resources covering IT Staffing and recruitment sectors. Experienced in benefits administration, recruitment, immigration, payroll, health insurance, worker compensation, adherence to federal and state employment laws. Available hard working and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Skilled interpersonal communicator with the ability to work with high-performing and cross-functional teams or independently.

• Managing HR Operations for the company.
• Employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Process and update employee data (new hires, changes in employment status, tax withholding, and personnel information)
• HR Manager overseeing Recruitment, Hiring and Benefits
• Work and Manage work with all levels of the organization.
• Manage Employment Verification, E-Verify, Background checks and Drug Tests for Employees.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters.
• Checking timesheets for accuracy.
• Provide timecard support and solutions as needed.
• Maintain personal employment data into ADP and Workforce tools.
• Assist with handling direct deposit requests and data.
• Processing paper checks for distribution.
• Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll.
• Processing wage garnishments.
• Assist with processing manual checks
• Ensure timely processing of all new hires, promotions, and terminations for several units.
• Analyze and audit payroll data for accuracy of posting, including intercompany transactions.
• Prepare, review and process payroll alerts accurately and on a timely manner.
• Manage pay raises, bonuses, tips and commission.
• Ensure compliance with the Federal, State and Local labor laws in all states and working on unemployment insurance information requests
• Manage and quickly resolve employee questions, inquiries, and complaints or direct them to the appropriate parties.
