Work Terms
Professional Engagement & Billing Terms
Thank you for considering my services. To ensure a seamless, transparent, and successful collaboration, I operate under the following professional work terms:
1. Payment Structures & Escrow Requirements
Fixed-Price Milestones: For project-based contracts, work is broken down into clear, sequential milestones. No work will begin until the milestone funds are 100% deposited into Guru's SafePay escrow.
Hourly Arrangements: For ongoing hourly consulting, I utilize Guru’s hourly tracker or manual logging as agreed upon. Invoices are generated weekly and are expected to be reviewed promptly.
2. Scope Management & RevisionsDefined Scope:
Every proposal will explicitly detail the exact deliverables (e.g., number of process maps, specific document types, or total user stories).
Scope Creep: Any requests outside the agreed-upon proposal will be handled via a "Change Request" and billed at my standard hourly rate or added as a new milestone.
Revisions: All deliverables include up to two (2) rounds of revisions within 14 days of delivery, provided they align with the original project scope.
3. Communication & Availability
Channels: All primary communication, brief updates, and file handovers must occur directly through the Guru workroom to maintain record transparency.
Meetings: Discovery calls or alignment sessions can be scheduled via Zoom/Teams through the Guru platform integration.
4. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
Non-Disclosure: I treat all client data, proprietary software code, and business strategies with strict corporate confidentiality.
IP Transfer: Full intellectual property rights of all documentation, architectures, and artifacts transfer completely to the client immediately upon the final release of SafePay escrow funds.
