I spent 4.5 years managing the full chargeback lifecycle at Bank of America - First Chargeback, Representment, Pre-arbitration, and Case Filing, working strictly within the card network system for dispute regulations. My day-to-day involved monitoring real-time transactions for fraud, investigating both cardholder and non-cardholder disputes, evaluating merchant responses, and writing the evidence-based arguments that actually win Representment cases.

I help business with two things:

1. Dispute response drafting - Provide the specifics of an active chargeback (reason code, order details, the customer's claim), and I'll write a response built around the evidence that reason code actually requires, not a generic template stitched together from guesswork.

2. Chargeback trend analysis - If you're losing money to repeat disputes and don't know why, I turn your exported data into a clear report on what's driving them: by reason code, product, or time period.

After this, I worked as a QA Analyst at ETS Labs, reviewing cases for US-based medical and law firm clients and building Excel dashboards to track quality metrics. I work in Excel and SQL, and I never need or ask for go to your live payment gateway or case management system you provide the data or case details, I submit the finished work.

Work Terms

I work independently, part-time, so I can give real attention to each project. For trend audits and dashboard builds, I'll ask for your data or a sample of it up front so I can give you a realistic scope before we agree on anything. I don't like quoting blind. For representment strategy reviews, I'll need to see your current process or a few sample cases to know what I'm actually reviewing.

Payment : hourly or fixed price depending on the project — we can figure out which makes more sense once the scope is clear. I'm comfortable using Guru's Safe Pay for first-time clients.

Communication : Guru messages or Workroom for anything project-related, so there's a record on both sides. I check messages daily and usually reply same-day during the work week.
