About

Consistency! Function before Form! Art above all!

Hi! I am Kent Pomares. I was born and raised in France until the age of 10 and then moved to Alberta Canada. I was born October 12, 1987.
I possess 8 years of working experience with 3d studio max of Autodesk. I take a great deal of satisfaction from 3d Work be it animation, design, scene optimization, product videos or projects that also include my voice acting work. I take a specific pleasure in dynamics simulation and scientific/medical visualization work as well. I've done much in that area for companies like Mendability and Sensory Enrichment Therapy ULC where I, as a media content creator for 5 years, produced visual explanations of neurological and physiological phenomena.
I am entirely self-taught. I had decided pretty early on that I would rather place the tuition fees into equipment, books, hardware and hit the ground running so to speak. While I do consider myself somewhat keen, I also love and recognize that the world of interactive media and its tight overlap with 3D work always brings new challenges with each project.
I am proficient with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition and Adobe Photoshop. The three amigos. Whatever the project requires. I am confident and excited to become a part of new projects, new ideas, new experiences.
I am at my best when I am doing 3D animation, film-editing, or sound work. I work fast and will complete the work both; on time and in a more than satisfactory manner. My philosophy is one of integrity and expedient "matter of factness". I take critique and direction extremely well and will fight to not only realize your vision but take it to the next level, if I can, with the original budget and time constraint.
This to say that I consider myself humble and easy to work with and communicate well. I'm also very direct. You work hard for your money and so do I. I won't waste time with excuses or a lack of due diligence.

I am prepared to compete with any quote or work alongside any other artist.

I hope to hear from you!

Work Terms

My schedule has been my own for some time now. For this I am grateful and very flexible. Depending on the project, I may be able to commit around 30-40 hours per project in a given week.

The type of project or employer isn't necessarily as important to me as his/her willingness and...
