I have successfully leveraged my writing, creative and interpersonal capabilities across an array of professional assignments, including screenwriting, film production, and film sales.
Some of my credits are:
“DEVELOPMENT HELL” - producer/writer/director. Selected to close Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, August 12, 2001. Available to view online.
“UNDERCURRENT” - producer/writer. Starring Lorenzo Lamas, Frank Vincent, and Brenda Strong. Video release July 1999. Aired on the Showtime Network and 20th Century Fox Syndicated Television.
I was Director of Special Projects for World Film Services. Screenwriter for the following projects: “IT’S A JUNGLE IN THERE!”, “SUGAR BABIES”, “CONDEMNED”. Developed and researched “SCOTT AND AMUNDSEN” (worked with Academy Award Screenwriter Winner Robert Bolt) and “PINK VODKA BLUES” (with Academy Award Screenwriter Winner Marshall Brickman)
Director of Foreign Distribution, Manley Productions, Inc. NY. Responsibilities: management and sales of a 120 film library in more than 60 countries, and post production and delivery of materials for theatrical, video and television release.
Work Terms
I will only accept an assignment that I am passionate about and am confident I can do an exemplary job. With long assignments, such as writing a screenplay, I would work with my employer on a step-payment deal before the project progressed. Our first story meeting would be in-person, but afterwards we can work by internet and phone. Although, I do prefer in-person meetings when possible.
Below I have attached a file of one of my screenplays entitled "CONDEMNED." Although the proposed budget for this film was over $10 million, I am very adept at writing a screenplay for a lower budget film or video (under $1 Million.) I would be aware to keep the locations and cast to a minimum, and to create tension and suspense without relying on standard chase scenes and special effects.
