About

British freelance copywriter, blogger and proofreader with experience of working professionally on a huge range of subjects.

Based in Colombia, I am a fully qualified British journalist, experienced copywriter and blogger working with UK-based clients including TradeNext, Factory Media and Image Automotive Holdings. The cost of living in Colombia is significantly cheaper than the UK, and this allows me to work on a variety of projects at an extremely competitive hourly rate.

After qualifying as a journalist in 2009, I worked for two years as a reporter at IPC Media in London, writing and sub-editing five pages of news each week for a magazine aimed at farmers and other people based in rural areas.

In 2013, I relocated with my family to Colombia where I embarked on a new life as a freelance copywriter and blogger. Since then, I have worked with a number of different clients, with much of my time taken up blogging for TradeNext Sport (http://tradenextsport.com/blog/) - topics in recent weeks have included Derby County FC, the Cricket World Cup, Premier League football and the Six Nations championship.

I have also undertaken a series of projects on sports such as BMX, skateboarding and motocross for action sports publisher Factory Media, based in London (www.factorymedia.com). References from all my clients can be supplied on request.

As well as my NCTJ journalism qualification, I have a 2:1 in English from Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Other examples of my work include a preview of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament for the Guardian website http://bit.ly/IPLpreview and a number of articles for the Wisden Cricketer magazine http://bit.ly/WisdenCricketer

I look forward to hearing from you!
