Beginning training in Judo at the age of 4, I've devoted my life towards expanding my skill and knowledge in a wide array of martial arts. Upon graduating from Washington State University, I continued this pursuit by competing in national level Mixed Martial Arts competitions.
Since leaving the professional MMA scene, I continue to train, grow and teach at my martial arts school in Redmond, WA. Through networking with the nation's top martial arts practitioners and through study of major martial arts organizations (UFC, Bellator, Glory Kickboxing) I am able to provide fresh content geared towards serious martial artists and casual fans of the fastest growing sport alike.
With my writing, I bring a genuine passion for the sport along with a fresh perspective from the side of both practitioner and fan.
