My name is Winfred Wanjiru, an undergraduate of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya. I have had a great passion for reading and writing catchy articles, stories, and essays in high school. After joining campus, I got an excellent chance to advance my writing skills when I was introduced to academic writing by my best friend who could prompt me to proofread and edit her documents. Since then, I have engaged myself in numerous activities that have seen me through my writing career.
After graduation, my parents had high hopes with me just like any other graduate. They encouraged me to go out and search for a good and well-paid job. Surprisingly, a turn of events occurred when I broke the news that I didn’t want to get into the corporate life, and instead, I wanted to major in writing and in turn become a professional writer. They hardly believed me, but since then, I have made amazing progress as a professional writer, which has equally changed their perception in this career. Today marks my third year as a passionate and experienced writer.
