by topic and I like being connected to my projects, so if I find your book or article is positive and interesting, my time is your time and I will help you work through publishing it. I work on science and technical material, medical and alternative health, topics about the outdoors, animals and wildlife, creative fiction and humor, children's and teen adventure novels. I have done textbook editing for more than $60/hour and offered my time free for charity publications. I enjoy helping new authors and getting your first book in print. I can also provide scenic photography for your cover or referrals for paid artists and consultants in the publishing industry who can carry your book project forward. I am an editor, not just a proofreader, but my writers always have the final say as to the final content of their manuscripts.
Work Terms
I am a freelancer - that means I may work 10 hrs a week or 80. Each project is different and the content of the document or book is of primary interest to me. If your book or article could change peoples' lives, let's get it out there. I prefer to work using email since I have a consistent workload most of the time, but you won't be neglected if I agree to work with you. If I can't take your project immed-iately, I can often refer you to someone who can. I am very mindful of deadlines and have never missed one, so I don't agree to anything I cannot meet.
