Detail-oriented, resourceful and innovative writer with over 25 years of experience as a freelancer
I am a detail-oriented, resourceful and innovative writer with over 15 years of experience as a freelancer. I have thousands of published articles in print and Online. From my start in newspaper and magazine writing to crafting countless articles for the World Wide Web, my full body of work covers a vast range of topics and subjects.
The bulk of my online writing is in the sports niche, but my experience at three different military colleges led to one of my first published articles in 1998. That piece chronicled my time at The US Air Force Academy, Norwich University and Virginia Military Institute. College Bound Magazine featured the story prominently and referenced it on the cover.
My military school experience also makes me an ideal candidate for this opportunity. I bring a particular discipline and focus to my work that helps me produce timely, well-researched and professionally crafted copy on a wide array of subjects. During my newspaper reporting years, I managed the news for an entire community (the town of Gilford, NH) and oversaw the production of a weekly insert in the paper that touched on all aspects of the town and the citizens who lived there.
I also have a knack for interviewing people. Over the past twenty years I questioned countless combat sports athletes, town officials, musical talents like Alice Cooper, and regular people. I even had the opportunity to ask the current US President a question on a conference call long before his first term. Donald Trump invested in a Mixed Martial Arts League called Affliction in 2008, and I joined the featured call in my capacity as a writer and editor for my Web-site Fight News Unlimited.
I am looking for as much regular writing work as possible, and I can turn pieces around quickly when needed.
Work Terms
I am available for up to 30 hours per week and traditionally accept jobs that pay at least $30 per article or a rate of $40 to $60 per article depending on length and research requirements.
