First thing off: I don't use skype nor ICQ (as they are proprietary closed protocols), but I have jabber.
I'm honest, trustful and reliable. Tenacious, can solve any problem if it's solvable. If I apply, that means that I'm 100% sure I can do the job meeting my quality standards. I don't tolerate obscure corners of the implementation, I understand how it works to the last detail, that implies doing no cruft. The code must “just work”, elegant and concise. There's too much non-working, ugly and bloated stuff around:( Lifetime warranty for my work (doesn't include new features though).
I use Gentoo and EMACS.
