Machine Learning Engineer, Developer, Problem Solver
As a student, I studied software engineering and software development life cycles, participated in Egypt's national competitive programming competition (ECPC) and was one of the top 38 teams (out of 100 teams), I also studied the math and algorithms behind data science, data mining, statistics, and machine learning common algorithms.
During my undergrad study, I was specifically interested in the field of data science and customer data analysis. My senior year project was a roommate recommendation engine, where I used Deep Learning algorithms and Libraries (Tensorflow and Pytorch --two different approaches) to implement the system.
My current areas of expertise are Natural Language processing and its usage in recommendation engines. I currently work as a Machine Learning Engineer in WUZZUF.net (Egypt's #1 recruitment platform) to enhance its recommendation engine on an industrial scale.
Work Terms
Keeping my clients up to date is part of my daily routine. To me, providing clients with regular updates is as important to me as getting the job done well and on time. I also appreciate discussions with clients, as they help us get to the required solution with just the right quality, efficiently.
