Professional videographer and video editor, done with care!

My expertise is working with clients to realize the full arc of their video projects. I have been working as a freelance videographer since 2005. I’ve produced videos for various organizations for educational and promotional purposes. I’ve produced video interview projects, performance videos, mini documentaries, archival videos and sports videos. I also work as a digital storytelling facilitator. I conduct workshops where participants create a digital “movie” of a personal story. I work with each workshop participant to create and edit their personal narratives, staying true to their intent but keeping them in line with current and grammatical styles. I give them extensive support searching and selecting appropriate imagery, video and audio, to align with the theme of their narrative and to realize the full potential of their digital stories.

Additionally, as a freelance designer and administrator, I regularly search and review media files: images, video and audio files, for print, video and web-based designs. I am proficient with the formatting requirements for each platform. I also use Google Doc, Dropbox, Microsoft BOX, and other online platforms for sharing files and ideas. I work in the Adobe Suite primarily in Photoshop, but also In Design, and Acrobat. My video/audio editing software skills include IMovie, We Video, Final Cut Pro, Garage Band and Soundstudio.

I have a BA in graphic design and a MA in media arts. I’ve worked for many years as a University administrator, arts producer and marketing professional, so my expertise includes project management, professionalism, teamwork and exceptional organization skills. People say I am funny, smart, reliable, a great communicator and a team player. I’d like to add pragmatic, authentic, trusting and trustworthy.
