Hello! My name is Zachary McGhee, I'm a diligent and detail-oriented college graduate, an English major and journalism minor, experienced with both writing and editing for journalistic writing, academic and essay writing, creative writing, and more.
The courses I took for my journalism minor offered countless opportunities for peer editing, which over the years have honed my abilities to spot all manner of mistakes, even when I'm not familiar with the writer's style or content. I'm thoroughly competent both with straightforward matters like proofreading for grammatical errors, typos, and the like, as well as broader editing practices like checking tone agreement, flow and organization, clarity and so on. For years, I've been lending these skills to friends and family for their important documents. Among their number is a teacher who seeks out my input for clarity, word choice, and hard-to-spot errors.
Work Terms
I'm most flexible on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but I also have time to work early in the morning and late in the evening on weekdays.
