Hello. My name is Zach, and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication and graduated summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.97. I have over 15 years of a diverse background in the communications field. From running my own personal blogs to blogging for various nonprofit organizations, I have developed an understanding of how to blog well and to create search engine optimization to attract viewers. I also have extensive experience with developing press releases for organizations and individuals. For a time, I volunteered as the regional communications director for a statewide nonprofit organization. The position entailed creating blog entries, press releases, correspondence between various departments within the organization and with individuals outside of the nonprofit.
Additionally, I have worked as a tutor for fellow college students and have lent my services to proofreading materials for various individuals including students and professionals. I have also been contracted for special projects writing newsletter articles, letters to editors and developing policy handbooks. I have a strong work ethic and I am flexible. I am friendly and want to ensure the best quality of work is provided to every client of mine. I can meet almost any project and any deadline provided to me. I am very receptive, and will take any feedback into consideration.
In the Fall of 2017, I will be attending Hofstra University's Forensic Linguistics graduate program. All proceeds I receive through Guru projects will be used towards my graduate studies.
Work Terms
The hours I work will generally be in the evenings during the week and any time on the weekends. Because of my flexibility, I can get any job done fairly quickly. If you need something as soon as possible, I would be a great candidate for it.
I am flexible with payment options. I would require at least half of the payment be made upfront and the other half upon completion of the project.
I prefer to communicate through email, primarily so that everything is in writing, however I can communicate through other means such as Skype, FaceTime, phone calls, texts and regular mail.
