Ongoing SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist (Long-Term, Multi-Brand)


Although we are up for suggestions always, we are very detailed and structured.  We keep detailed checklists and expect all lists to be done thoroughly, we also intend to use as many tools as possible to reduce man hours, so that we extend this offering to our other brands.

🧭 Project Overview

We’re seeking an experienced SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and automate our keyword and backlink strategies across three established New Brunswick brands:

  • 🏠 Altitude Roofing – Roofing and exterior services

  • ☕ The Squeeze – Café and smoothie bar focused on healthy local food

  • 🧱 TradeCore Construction – General contracting and renovations

This role blends technical SEO, automation, content strategy, and reporting. You’ll be responsible for increasing rankings, backlinks, and conversions across all three brands — while ensuring every task, report, and deliverable is tracked through Zoho Projects.

🎯 Our Goals (Per Brand)

We’re building a long-term SEO ecosystem that compounds every month. Over the next year, we expect consistent, measurable progress built on three pillars:


🔗 Backlink Growth

  • Build 10 new high-quality backlinks per month (DA 25+).

  • Focus on local, industry, and supplier-related links — not mass submissions.

  • Maintain and monitor backlinks through Moz; replace lost links proactively.


🔑 On-Site Optimization

  • Perform 4–6 on-page optimizations per month, improving titles, metadata, internal linking, and keyword density.

  • Review Google Search Console weekly for low-CTR pages and implement fixes.

  • Ensure new blogs and landing pages are keyword-mapped and optimized before publishing.


📄 New Content & Pages

  • Publish or coordinate 2–4 new SEO-optimized pages each month, including:

    • Blog posts targeting long-tail local keywords.

    • Service or location pages expanding geographic reach.

    • Resource or “pillar” pages that attract backlinks.

  • Track all URLs and rankings in the Keyword Tracker Sheet.


🔗 Core ResponsibilitiesBacklink Strategy

  • Implement and manage our automated backlink system (Moz + Make.com + Google Sheets + Zoho CRM).

  • Conduct weekly competitor link analysis using Moz Link Intersect.

  • Manage outreach campaigns to suppliers, trade partners, local blogs, and directories.

  • Maintain the Backlink Radar tracker — new, lost, and pending links.

  • Produce monthly backlink performance summaries for each brand.

Keyword Strategy

  • Build and refresh keyword clusters for each brand every 60 days.

  • Use Moz Keyword Explorer + Google Search Console for gap analysis and tracking.

  • Optimize existing content around priority keywords; map new keywords to future content.

  • Deliver monthly keyword growth and ranking reports.

Automation & Reporting

  • All SEO work and reporting must be logged in Zoho Projects with clear milestones.

  • Manage Make.com automations linking Moz → GPT → Google Sheets → Zoho.

  • Provide automated weekly and monthly SEO Health Reports with backlink and keyword KPIs.

🔁 Recurring Workflow (Tracked in Zoho Projects)

Weekly

  • Run Moz + GSC data pulls

  • Update backlink and keyword dashboards

  • Follow up on outreach and optimize 1–2 existing pages

Monthly

  • Add 25–40 backlinks

  • Complete 4–6 on-page optimizations

  • Publish 2–4 new pages (blogs, services, or locations)

  • Run full backlink and keyword audit

  • Submit updated sitemap to Google

Quarterly

  • Deep competitor and keyword gap analysis

  • Create or refresh one major resource / pillar content piece

  • Present progress summary report across all three brands

🧩 Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of professional SEO experience (technical + content)

  • Proven record of achieving consistent backlink growth and ranking improvements

  • Skilled in Moz, Make.com, and Zoho suite

  • Strong grasp of local SEO, keyword mapping, and content optimization

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with automations

  • Excellent written English and communication skills

  • Bonus: background in construction, trades, or hospitality
