🧾 JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a highly skilled marketing operator to help launch and scale my book:

MY DAD IS MY COACH… AND IT SUCKS
(How Parent Coaches Can Build Great Athletes Without Losing Their Kids)


This is not a one-time marketing project. This is the launch of a brand and business ecosystem built around:

  • Book sales (Amazon + direct)

  • Parent workshops

  • Bulk sales to youth organizations

  • Speaking and consulting opportunities


I am looking for someone who can plan, execute, and optimize a full launch strategy, not just post content.

The goal of this role is to:

  1. Drive book sales (Amazon + direct)

  2. Build a parent + coach audience

  3. Generate inbound leads from:

    • Youth sports organizations

    • Rec departments

    • AAU programs

  4. Position me as a thought leader in youth sports parenting


šŸ“¦ SCOPE OF WORK1. Launch Strategy Execution

  • Build and execute a 30–60 day launch plan

  • Coordinate content, email, and outreach efforts

  • Ensure all pieces (content, landing page, funnel) are aligned

2. Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop weekly content plan (short-form video + posts)

  • Repurpose book content into:

    • Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn posts

    • Reels (scripts + direction)

  • Work with me to extract ideas from the book and turn them into content

3. Funnel & Landing Page Optimization

  • Help structure and optimize landing page (Framer)

  • Create lead capture strategy (free guide, email list, etc.)

  • Improve conversion from visitor → buyer

4. Email Marketing

  • Build and manage a basic email funnel:

    • Welcome sequence

    • Value emails

    • Book promotion

  • Write or assist with copy

5. Outreach Strategy (HIGH PRIORITY)

  • Build and execute outreach strategy to:

    • Rec departments

    • Youth basketball organizations

    • AAU programs

  • Help craft messaging and track responses

6. Analytics & Optimization

  • Track what’s working (content, traffic, conversions)

  • Adjust strategy based on performance


šŸŽÆ IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are NOT just a social media manager.

You are:

  • A growth marketer or launch strategist

  • Someone who understands funnels, content, and conversions

  • Experienced in launching:

    • Books

    • Personal brands

    • Courses or info products

Must Have:

  • Proven experience with product or book launches

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Social media growth (IG, TikTok, LinkedIn)

    • Landing pages & conversion

    • Email marketing

  • Ability to think strategically AND execute

Bonus (Strong Preference):

  • Experience in sports, parenting, or coaching space

  • Experience selling to organizations (B2B outreach)

  • Familiarity with Amazon book launches
