Podcast Brief - CEO Mentor Series
We're looking for a highly skilled podcast video editor to edit an upcoming 1-hour+ interview episode between Collins Mayaki and David B. Horne.
The series centers around mentorship and entrepreneurship, and the final product will be published on YouTube.
This project includes editing a multi-cam interview, integrating B-roll, syncing audio, and producing a short-form trailer (with reference trailers provided).
Deliverables:
- Full podcast episode (approx. 1h 6min) polished and ready for YouTube
- 60–90 sec high-impact trailer for marketing
- Integrate provided B-roll + optional sourced YouTube B-roll (linked video)
- Add lower-thirds, text highlights, and subtle transitions where appropriate
- Incorporate voiceover segments from provided script
- Export files in high-quality 4K and optimized 1080p formats

Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced podcast/video editor with a proven portfolio of multi-cam interviews
- Strong storytelling ability through editing, pacing, and visual rhythm
- Able to enhance emotional and mentorship themes through visual style and B-roll
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
- Comfortable working with tight feedback loops and remote collaboration
Nice to Have:
